Wittgenstein´s ‘Idealism’

Abstract



A comparison of Wittgenstein’s indeterminism and Kant´s argument for the principle of
causality from the assumption of the ideality of time shows that Bernard Williams’
claim that Wittgenstein was a transcendental idealist is untenable.
