The Private Language Argument and Phenomenological Perspective

Abstract

Examining what the private language argument means, the questions of private
experience as well as the concept of meaning are discussed from a novel angle. In the
course of examination, a comparison between Wittgenstein’s thoughts and Husserl’s
phenomenological concepts is suggested. As a consequence, I would like to develop the
perspective from which we can grasp a common base shared by phenomenological
conceptions of time as flux and by Wittgenstein's view on proto-phenomena.
