A Note on Wittgenstein and Nietzsche

Abstract



This article points out a number of similarities between the thought of Wittgenstein
and that of Nietzsche. These similarities suggest the possibility (i) that
Wittgenstein was acquainted with some of Nietzsche’s works, and (ii) that in some
fields Wittgenstein was influenced by Nietzsche.
