Russell vs. Wittgenstein: In Defense of Russell (A Reply to Some Old Thesis of Peter Hacker’s Interpretation of Wittgenstein’s Tractatus)
Abstract
The author analyses and challenges the theory according to which Wittgenstein, in
Tractatus, would have categorically pointed out the
errors and confusions of Russell’s philosophy, and thereby provoked his
bankruptcy. He takes Peter Hacker’s interpretation on the subject as a case
study.
