German Schoolbook from the time of WWII

Abstract

An exercise book from Bavaria/Germany which dates back to ca. 1942 (there is no exact date given in the book, but some historical hints, e.g. the battle of Stalingrad). It must have been designed for a subject like social studies ("Heimat- und Sachkunde") and involves entries concerning geography, biology, practical knowledge and occasionally latest devolpments in the war. The whole book is permeated by Nazi ideology which is at times shocking, but also makes it an immensely interesting historical document.
