Wittgenstein on Thoughts and Representations
Abstract
The thesis defended in this paper is that in the transitional period i.e., in the
manuscripts published as Philosophical Remarks, Philosophical Grammar, Wittgenstein's
Lectures, 1930-32, Wittgenstein develops a peculiar form of representationalism,
which in effect helps to interpret the cryptic passages on "Thought" and "thinking"
in the Tractatus.
