Abstract



The aim of the seminar will be to consider some of the most influential treatments of problems in the philosophy of perception in the post-war analytic philosophical tradition. A sixth meeting may be scheduled, if a convenient time can be found – in which case the readings presently scheduled for the fifth meeting (from Putnam and McDowell) will be distributed over the fifth (Putnam) and sixth (McDowell) meetings of the seminar.
